Why are we who we are? Who’s responsible?

Are we products of our environments? Our families? Our friends? Or is everything summed up like Grandma Moses said, “Life is
what you make it, always has been and always will be.” our inherited tendencies? Our likability? Our willingness or our willfulness?
Who we know? Where we live? What we drive? Our luck or our lack of luck? What we choose to focus our energy on? Who we associate
We are influenced by all of these, but none of them is the deciding factor.
We’re not responsible for the disabilities we’re handed at birth or by fate. We are responsible, however, for how we react to them. We
are responsible for what we do with our disabilities and  with our abilities. Our most powerful ability is our ability to choose our
We are products of our Attitudes. Our Attitudes will make us or break us. One Attitude at a time, we’re either building our castles or
our coffins.
My attitude is my choice.
I can choose to be a winner or a loser. A loser sees obstacles. A winner sees possibilities.
A winner chooses to:
  1. Accept the life they’ve been given-Live until they die-Life is more than having a heartbeat.
  2. Believe they can do it–Lighten up.
  3. Care about others.
Like Hubert Humphrey said, it’s not what they take away from you that counts.  It’s what you do with what you have left.
