Here are 10 things everyone can do on their own to enjoy better health, and all are free of government control.  How many of you cannot get through a day without the government telling how to live that day?  If you are one of these unfortunate souls, please read on because you will be greatly enlightened by learning you can have good health if you will work for it and quit believing the government can give it to you.

Tenet #1 is to eat and exercise properly.  I don’t intend to tell you how or what to eat or how much you must exercise; use common sense by eating foods that are good for.  I have a saying I would like to pass on to you, “I like everything I eat but I don’t eat everything I like”.

Tenet #2 is to reduce the number of drugs, or medications you take regularly.  All drugs are dangerous and taking them regularly is running the risk of altering the chemical balance within your body.  It is my estimate that 70% of all prescriptions should never be written and the same thinking applies to over-the-counter medications.

Tenet #3 is to live a life of faith, in other words go to church regularly.  I think I can explain it this way; it is unknown why, but people who believe in a supreme being live longer.

Tenet #4 is to learn how to vote intelligently.  All one has to do is look back to the November, 2008 election to learn a big lesson.

Tenet #5 to know that catastrophic health insurance is the only health insurance that should be marketed to anyone.  Co-pay health insurance is solely responsible for excessive health care costs.

Tenet #6 is to set achievement goals for everything you want to accomplish in life.

Tenet #7 is to be responsible for who you are and how you live your life.  Surely you don’t need anyone else, and certainly not the government to define who you are.  If you cannot be responsible, you are a member of what I call the “boo-boo society”.  This society is for those of you who act like babies, who when things don’t go right for you, want someone to kiss their little hurt, or boo-boo.

Tenet #8 is to be on guard against all those people who want to steal your happiness.  A couple of examples would be the “food” police and the “pleasure” policy.

Tenet #9 is to be eternally vigilant for all those forces in our society who are constantly trying to tell all of us how to live our lives.

Tenet #10 is to eliminate personal debt.  There is enough in life to worry about, and worry about anything is not conducive to good health.
