Al Turrisi

I have been in sales my entire life. While in high school I bred and sold tropical fish. In college I went to people’s homes and closed them on purchasing my lawn service. While in college I also sold real estate and owned my own home at the age of twenty-one.

Early in my sales career I had a successful track record of being a top performer. My first real sales position was with a beer company. I started as a relief salesperson then won my own territory. I was one salesperson out of twenty-three with the worst territory in the house. Within two and half years my territory was in the top five.

I have always been passionate about sales and developing people. I went to work for a small mom and pop company in Red Bank New Jersey. They were selling marketing programs to hospitals. Their revenue at the time was approximately $2,000,000.00

I was their first salesperson outside of the family. The company would pick up about three new accounts a year. My first six months with the company I brought in ten new accounts.

I hired additional sales people, taught them how to sell and within five years we were a $27,000,000 company.

I enjoy selling and showing salespeople how to increase sales and market share, increase their close ratios, and shorten the length of the sales cycle.

I am available to do public and private sales training programs as well as sales management programs with breakout sessions. I also enjoy consulting, coaching, and giving keynote speeches.

As a Behavioral Analyst my approach is very hands on. I use numerous exercises that take people through an experience which has staying power. I believe the more engaged the audience is the more likely they will understand, retain and apply the lessons learned.
