Clark Browne is the former President and Chairman of the U. S. Naval Observatory chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP).
This is the union that represents the Department of Defense Police Officers who work right alongside the U. S. Secret Service Officers to provide the frontline protection to the Vice President of The United States and his family who live on the grounds of the U. S. Naval Observatory.
During Clark’s tenure as President of the FOP he was responsible for changing working conditions, better pay and building morale for the officers.
While Clark was working on improving the working conditions and building the morale of the officers he also wanted to find ways to build a better working relationship with management so Clark started taking several courses to help him understand not only the officers and employees side of the problems but also the management side.
