We do not live and work in an economic vacuum. If you are not prepared, what happens in the national economy will come back to bite you when you are least prepared.

It will be your ability to adapt to the changing economic trends that will insure your success both personally and professionally. Why? Because if you do not base your planning on long-term economic trends, then it will be difficult to adopt a framework in which to base your business decisions. You will be rushing about putting out current fires instead of devoting your energies to long-term planning.

My presentation includes:

The Seven Deadly Business Sins

We are all sinners – at least in the business sense. And, it is hard not to be a business sinner today. In our current pell-mell state of rushing about putting out current “business fires” it would be beyond the capacity of mere mortals not to make one or more of the so-called business sins. Knowledge of these seven great business sins will not make you perfect, but can allow you to be a better business manager.

The U.S. Economic Machine

How to Thrive Midst Turbulence and Chaos

The changing business environment impacts planning and thus profitability. Contrary to what many people believe, economic trends do not change all that quickly

-but they do come to an end. If you continue to ride and old trend it could lead to financial disaster.

Going forward the new long-term economic trend is a massive deleveraging taking place in the U.S. economy. This will have profound implications on how both individuals and businesses plan for their growth and betterment.

“A secure future lies in economic growth.”
