Larry served in the United States Army, Army National Guard of MN and the United States Army Reserves, retiring after 29 years as a First Sergeant E-8 following graduating from High School in 1966.
He attended Inver Hills College for two years studying Law Enforcement and Business Law.
Larry conducted training for the Saint Paul Police Academy and also took on a research project resulting in Minnesota becoming the first state requiring Occupational Licensing for Law Enforcement in 1978.
Larry served on the evening faculty of Inver Hills College and Rasmussen Business College
Teaching college level Sales & Sales Management Programs. Lectured at Open University in Minneapolis, MN on Entrepreneurial Skills for the 21st Century.
Larry became a public speaker in 1973 and qualified for membership in the National Speakers Association, and qualified from there to join the International Platform Association.
Larry was also a Master Trainer in the military conducting Recruiting & Retention Seminars.

January 21, 2013 Hi Larry, I just wanted to send you a follow-up email to our conversation that we had last week. I wanted to let you know how everything has been going since I started. I remember being in your class, and you asked us to write down what our goal was for annual income. I wrote down that I wanted to be making 115,000 per year. At the time, that sounded like a big accomplishment, but as time passed, I found my goal rising and rising.
Using the strategies that I learned in your class, I’ve raised the bar! It’s only been four years and I’m already over 300k! Not to mention the trips and awards along the way! • Matt – February 2, 2011 I’ve worked with Larry on and off the last 10 years and there are few who I respect more and have learned more from than Larry Josephs. I love his seminars and continue to pick up new ideas and strategies every time I hear him speak. I am convinced; there is NOTHING this man can’t do.
