OK, so it’s January 5th, the holidays are over and we’re all back in the fray.   It’s back to work and onward and forward with the New Year-Yay us!

There’s just one thing –your Christmas was a little too Merry and the New Year a little too Happy.

Hence the 5-10 extra pounds and the very tight squeeze into Monday morning’s work clothes.  Oh-Oh….Yep that old holiday weight gain showed up again—Bah humbug!

Alright it happened.  Get over it.  So seriously, what can you do about losing the “Bajiggly” quick-I mean like yesterday!

Try these 4 top ways to start losing holiday weight gain immediately:

  1. For the next 30 days make a pact with yourself to eliminate consumption of all processed and sugar-laden foods…. and drinks (that’s right– no energy drinks, sodas, or booze).  Also, eliminate added oils.

  1. “Shake your booooty”   musical notes …Meaning you have to move your body to burn fat and get thin! The easiest way to do this is to walk briskly for 20-40 minutes per day for the next 3-4 weeks.  If it’s raining or snowing you can go to the mall and do laps-remember keep up a brisk pace and move your arms as well as legs!

  1. Drink 4-6 glasses of water/day. One at breakfast, and another at mid morning, lunch, mid-afternoon, and at dinner.
