Profile

Steve is a practicing attorney and businessman who has specialized in complex, international commercial transactions.  As an attorney he has represented numerous Fortune 500 Companies on:

• International regulatory matters—Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Export Controls, etc.
• Mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other business enterprises
• Intellectual property matters
• Dispute Resolution
• Development of large scale infrastructure projects.  

Steve has closed transactions in over 45 countries.

A business visionary who has had the experience of implementing his ideas, Steve co-founded:

• A leading publication on law and finance in East Asia and the Middle East.
• The US-ASEAN Business Council
• Several US Utility Trade Associations focused on new and renewable energy

and co-developed The Light Rail Transit System, Line 3, in Metro Manila, Philippines 

For his clients he developed programs, conferences, and seminars on matters such as:

• Doing Business in the USA, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, ASEAN

• The World Solar Conference, Harare, Zimbabwe
• The Parliament, Zambia
• The Congress of the United States

He is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and New York, and before numerous courts, including the United States Supreme Court.  He is an international arbitrator with the International Centre for Dispute Resolution/American Arbitration Association.
